Kitchen Remodel Services in Ken Caryl
Whatever the scope, Sander & Sons can handle it. A kitchen remodel might mean taking the room down to the studs and starting over, or it might mean nothing more than new countertops on cabinets you’re perfectly happy with. Most projects land somewhere in between.
Much of Ken Caryl Ranch went up between the early 1970s and the 1990s, and kitchens from that era tend to share a few frustrations: walls that close the kitchen off from the rest of the house, dropped soffits eating the space above the cabinets, and never quite enough counter or storage. When the layout itself is the problem, we look at removing walls and reworking the floor plan. When the bones are fine and the finishes are simply tired, we leave the structure alone and replace what you see.
Square footage doesn’t change our approach much. Tight kitchens call for storage that earns its keep and a work triangle that doesn’t waste a step. Bigger rooms open up options like an island, a second sink or a dedicated baking or coffee station.
A Local Team Serving Ken Caryl
Ken Caryl sits a short drive from our Littleton showroom at 7540 S. Grant St., which makes it easy to come in and see materials in person — door styles, countertop samples, hardware, finishes. Choosing from a photo is a gamble. Choosing from the real thing isn’t.
We work on both sides of the hogback, in the Valley and out on the Plains. Our portfolio collects photos from completed projects nearby, including a Littleton ranch house remodel of a similar vintage to many Ken Caryl homes. Spending a few minutes with those photos before you talk to anyone will tell you a lot about the standard of finish we hold ourselves to.
Our Kitchen Remodel Process
Getting from your first call to your first day of construction takes five steps.
- In-Home or Showroom Consultation – Visit our showroom to explore materials and finishes, or have us come to you. Either way, we’ll discuss your goals, ideas, and budget.
- Design Review – At the showroom, your design is presented as a 3D rendering. Ask for changes here — that’s what the meeting is for.
- Product Selection – You pick cabinetry, counters and fixtures with real samples in front of you, not swatches on a website.
- Construction Meeting – Your contractor comes to the house to confirm scope, cover the schedule and nail down the last construction details.
- Ordering and Scheduling – Cabinets and countertops go on order, and your start date follows from their delivery window.

Cabinets and Countertops for Your Ken Caryl Kitchen
Four manufacturers anchor our kitchen cabinet offering:
- Woodharbor
- Bridgewood
- Greenfield
- Siteline
All four are on display at the showroom, so you’ll know precisely what’s arriving at your house — you’ll have already stood in front of it.
For kitchen countertops, the list runs past ten manufacturers, with quartz, granite and Corian among the premium materials we carry. Color match, durability under heavy daily use, budget — whichever is driving your decision, it’s easier to settle with the actual samples side by side.
Direct, Transparent Pricing
Our designers will give you a quote for your cabinetry and countertops at your design review. For your construction bid, the numbers you see come from the contractors themselves, and Sander & Sons doesn’t mark them up. Your bid outlines the work involved, such as plumbing, electrical and construction. Bringing your own contractor is fine as well; we collaborate with outside contractors regularly.
Ken Caryl Kitchen Remodel FAQs
Yes. Ken Caryl is one of the communities we serve regularly, and our showroom is only a short drive away in Littleton. We handle full kitchen remodels, cabinet replacement and countertop installation throughout the area.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost?
Scope drives the price more than anything else — whether walls move, which cabinet line you select and what material goes on the counters. At your in-home or showroom consultation, you’ll get a realistic price range for your kitchen.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on the work involved, though cabinet lead times usually set the pace, since cabinets are typically the longest-lead item in the entire project. A specific schedule comes from your contractor after the construction meeting.
What happens during the in-home or showroom consultation?
One of our designers will spend time discussing your kitchen in your home or our showroom. This will include talking with you about what isn’t working and what you’d like instead. Budget and finish preferences are part of that conversation, and together they give us what we need to draft a preliminary design.
