Planning Phase of this Kitchen Remodel Project

Every kitchen remodel project includes a thorough planning phase to ensure we account for every detail necessary to execute the client’s vision as precisely as possible. This planning phase starts with a visit to your home for an initial consultation, where our team takes measurements of your kitchen so that we can make sure your new kitchen design optimizes the available space. Our meticulous planning process inspires more innovative designs that ensure all your goals for your kitchen remodel project are achieved.

Our planning had to account for a variety of factors associated with the existing space:

• The kitchen cabinet height was based off the window and door height for a clean look

• Dark painted cabinetry was chosen for the perimeter and wood cabinetry was used for the island to address the client’s aesthetic preferences

• We planned for an island with the maximum quartz slab size possible without having a seam

• Detailed measurements were taken so that we could build cabinetry around the various appliances in the kitchen

Customized Solutions for the Shadycroft Kitchen Project

We created the following customized solutions to deliver the best possible results for the Shadycroft Kitchen project while staying within the client’s specified budget:

• Woodharbor cabinetry was chosen to create custom solutions for this kitchen

• We used a custom paint color consisting of Sherwin Williams’ Iron Ore for the perimeter cabinets in an inset Madison door

• Gorgeous hickory wood in the Foxwood stain was chosen for the island cabinetry

• Paneled ready appliances were used for a trash compactor and two dishwasher drawers, allowing the homeowner to run one small load of dishes at a time

• Inset cabinetry was used to incorporate the surrounds for a Sub-Zero 60” refrigerator and freezer along with a Miele microwave and coffee maker

• 60” Wolf stove was installed within the island
