Meet Our Team of Kitchen + Bath Experts

We are grateful for the many people who help make Sander & Sons the best we can be for our clients. From our our designers in our showroom to the great contractor and designer relationships we have fostered through the years. We have a full service team working hard to design around you.

Mike Sander - Owner & Founder

Mike founded Sander and Sons in 1996, starting his journey by remodeling his own family kitchen and later transitioning into professional fabrication of solid surface countertops. Over the past twenty years, Sander & Sons has evolved into a comprehensive kitchen and bath showroom. As a countertop expert, Mike takes great pride in helping countless clients turn their dream kitchens and baths into reality. Outside of work, Mike enjoys woodworking, traveling, and honing his skills as a master griller. He also treasures quality time with his family, especially his eight grandchildren.

Phil Sander - Owner & Designer

Phil’s journey in the kitchen and bath industry began at the age of 16, when he started working in the family business, gaining hands-on experience in fabricating and installing countertops. He furthered his education by earning a Bachelor’s in Business Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, all while deepening his knowledge of the industry. With over 19 years of experience in designing kitchens and baths, Phil has established himself as an expert in his field. His designs reflect a commitment to beauty, innovation, and functionality, ensuring that each space not only looks stunning but also meets the practical needs of his clients. Now living in Colorado with his wife and three children, Phil enjoys the great outdoors, particularly fishing and tackling home improvement projects.

Monica Chalupsky - Designer

Monica graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design with a focus on Architecture. She also attended The Art Institute of Colorado and received a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She has worked in the design field for 11 years and especially enjoys working with clients to create their dream kitchen. Monica loves snowboarding and hiking in the mountains with her husband.

Allison Mahieu - Designer

Allison relocated to Colorado in August 2015 and has been a vital part of Sander and Sons since January 2016, bringing with her 13 years of expertise in kitchen and bath design. Specializing kitchen and bathroom design, cabinetry,  and countertops, she is committed to delivering designs that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. As a dedicated mother of three, Allison’s spare time is limited; however, she passionately explores Colorado’s hidden gems, enjoying the thrill of discovering unique finds at garage sales and flea markets to rehab or repurpose.

Tanya Williams - Project Coordinator

Tanya has been in the home building and design industry since 2006 and has been with Sander and Sons since 2021. She loves helping her clients find beautiful countertops and building relationships. With a keen eye for detail, Tanya excels in coordinating the many teams that work on remodels, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Outside of work, she enjoys interior design, live comedy, fall weather and spending time with her husband and son.

Navy - Office Mascot

Meet Navy, our adorable blue French bulldog puppy with a vibrant personality! Born in March of 2024, Navy is a bundle of joy, known for her playful antics and affectionate nature. With big, expressive eyes and her bat-like ears, she loves to steal the spotlight and everyone’s heart. When she isn’t playing or snuggling, you can find Navy napping in her favorite cozy spot. Navy is a welcomed addition to our team, after losing our beloved chocolate Labrador Retriever, Paisley, in 2020. Paisley worked hard at greeting everyone here at Sander & Sons for almost 14 years and we hope for the same happy life for this little Frenchie.
